Common questions
How does a block work?
You begin a block of deep work, anywhere from one to four hours, focus for that time, then commit it with a short note about what you did. Every committed block builds your history: green squares, streaks, and records.
What happens if I get interrupted?
Tap “I got interrupted” to pause. When you come back, the block resumes and gives you back the time you were away, so you still earn your full focus minutes. Paused time never counts as focus.
Does it sync across my devices?
Yes. Everything is tied to your account and syncs between the iPhone app and the web app. Commit a block on your phone and it appears on the web moments later.
What is the monthly Watermark?
Once a month, deepwell reads your month and writes you a short letter about how you actually worked, ending with one small intention for the month ahead. It is a personal note, not a stats readout.
How do I delete my account?
On the profile screen, tap delete my account. This permanently erases your account and everything in it, forever. See the privacy policy for details.
